Against the Clock is a series on FACT TV where we give an artist 10 minutes in the studio and see what they come up with. You can watch all the past episodes here.
Up this week, Marc Romboy. The Berlin-based producer has been releasing music since the late ’90s under a variety of guises, and this month released a three-disc retrospective (of sorts – it also features new material), Shades. For his Against the Clock, Romboy started with the stems from Terrence Parker’s ‘Love’s Got Me High’, a track that he first remixed in 2011 on a long-sold-out 10″. As Romboy told FACT TV, “the 10″ is available at Discogs for already 60€ as totally sold out. But due to the fact that my remix is on [Scales] I found it exciting to direct a live remix.”
Dude has gear, in case you didn’t know.
