Aybee – Against The Clock

Oakland house veteran Aybee goes Against The Clock from his Berlin studio.

Drawing on jazz, deep house, techno, hip hop and blues, Oakland-born Armon Bazile has been making music as Aybee since 2004 as well as working alongside Ron Trent as Indigenous Space People.

Bazile’s Deepblak label has become an important hub for like-minded producers such as Damon Bell and Afrikan Sciences. Raw, deep and unbound by tempo and style, the imprint’s music bridges the gap between club music and freeform electronics.

Following the release of his fourth album The Odyssey, FACT TV caught up with Bazile at his studio in Berlin, where he jammed out a track in 10 minutes in his typically improvisational style.
