MPC Studio & MPC Renaissance tutorial showcasing how to use the Sample Tuning function & Pitch Shift when chopping up a sample. Sample tuning is a cornerstone of hip-hop sampling and allows the users to create chipmunk style samples (reminiscent to Kanye West, & Just Blaze).
Tuning a sample is less permanent than pitch shifting it. Pitch shifting requires you to constantly press the undo button if you wish to make changes again. However, if you merely tune the sample your changes can be achieved in real time.
